Support patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout medicine-assisted psychedelic therapy sessions at our Calgary clinic. LPNs bring clinical expertise and a trauma-informed approach to a therapeutic environment built around each client’s healing journey, working alongside an interprofessional care team before, during, and after every session.

What you’ll do

• Complete individualized medical and mental health assessments of each patient’s condition and clinical presentation.
• Administer treatments and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
• Teach symptom management strategies and help develop care plans aligned with therapy goals.
• Monitor and reprioritize patient care as conditions or therapeutic progress change.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient interactions and services delivered.
• Follow clinic protocols and perform quality assurance tasks, including equipment calibration and maintenance checks.

What you’ll bring

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) and a valid practising licence as a regulated member under the Health Professions Act.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support — Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Two or more years in mental health settings or therapeutic interventions for mental health diagnoses is an asset.
• Additional training in psychiatric or mental health nursing — for example, Introduction to Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy — is an asset.
• Trauma-informed care training and mental health first aid preferred.
