Is Psychedelic Therapy Legal in Oregon?

Legal / regulated access

Oregon operates a regulated pathway to supervised therapeutic use of at least one psychedelic — one of the few US states to do so.

Status by substance

State-level status for lawful supervised therapeutic use. Regardless of state law, classic psychedelics remain Schedule I federally. Last reviewed 2026-06.

Psilocybin

Legal / regulated access

Regulated therapeutic access: Measure 109 / ORS 475A allows adults 21+ to consume psilocybin at state-licensed service centers with a trained facilitator; 100+ centers operating. Possession outside the program is not legal. Remains federally Schedule I.
